Know My Arts is a premier online marketplace and gallery for artists in Africa. Currently the site only showcases art by artists in Ghana. However we plan to expand to the other countries over the next 2-3 years.

  2. Financially empower artists in developing countries by allowing them to generate a fair income doing what they love most.

A Fair Price

Conditions for selling your items on the Know My Arts platform include:

  • Know My Arts is a curated online gallery, and has control over which artwork it chooses to showcase and allow for sale. This means that we have the right to reject submitted artwork at our discretion. If you have any questions about this, please email knowmyarts@gmail.com.

  • [Artists Listing Only] Upon purchase of artwork, artists have up to 3 days to get it to a Know My Arts representative. If the artwork is commissioned, artists must communicate anticipated completion deadlines to Know My Arts immediately. Email knowmyarts@gmail.com.

  • Artists are paid after artwork has shipped and the customer has received a tracking number.

  • For payments made via PayPal, artists are responsible for transaction fee

  • Customers are allowed 10 days to return items.

  • All images of artwork should be high resolution

  • Know My Arts will have the rights to use your images of your art for advertising and promotional purposes

 

Associated Fee’s for selling on the Know My Arts platform include:

  • Know My Arts takes 30-40% commission on all sales

  • Know My Arts does not charge a monthly membership fee
